  • Apply cleaning solution to the front cover and all filters
  • Apply cleaning solution to the evaporator coil, fan barrel and internal airways

Hydrowash

  • Evaporator coil, for better cooling and efficiency
  • Fan barrel and internal airways, including the vents and louvres, for stronger airflow
  • Filters, for cleaner airflow

Mould treatment and deodorise

  • Treat the inside of the unit with an antifungal to help stop mould and bacteria growing back
  • Deodorise, leaving the unit smelling fresh and clean
  • Run the unit and check it’s working properly

Take the unit apart and flush the drain

  • Remove all covers and filters from the indoor unit
  • Apply cleaning solution to the covers and filters, then hydrowash them
  • Refit all covers and filters
  • Flush the condensation drain with pressurised water and cleaning solution, to help prevent blockages and leaks

What’s included in a split system clean?

Both packages include a chemical clean and hydrowash of the coil, fan barrel, filters and airways, plus mould treatment, a deodorise and a test run. Essential also takes the covers off to wash them and flushes the condensation drain.

Should I choose Standard or Essential?

Standard suits units that are cleaned every 6 to 12 months. Go for Essential if the unit smells musty, has visible mould or black spots, or you don’t know when it was last cleaned.

How much does split system cleaning cost?

Standard is $95 per unit, or $89 each for 2 or more. Essential is $165 per unit, or $149 each for 2 or more.

Is the outdoor unit included?

Not by default, but you can add it to any clean for $30 per outdoor condenser. It needs to be reachable safely from the ground.

How do I book?

Can cleaning fix a leaking or faulty aircon?

Sometimes a blocked drain causes a leak and a clean helps, but cleaning isn’t a repair. Tell us about leaks, error codes or cooling problems before booking and we’ll give you an honest answer. We don’t do electrical, refrigerant or repair work.

What do I need to do before you arrive?

Clear the space under each indoor unit and make sure we can get to it. If you’ve added the outdoor unit, clear around that too. We’ll mention anything else when we confirm the booking.
